How old are you and where are you from?
I’m from a little town in the North East of England, U.K. I’m forty-six, but twenty-six inside!
Tell us more about your book!
I have a few books out now including a Middle-grade fantasy series. A YA Paranormal Romance series. A YA Contemporary Romance, and a YA/ New Adult Fairy tale retelling. The retelling is called CINDERFELLA and it has all roles reversed. It’s a little darker in places than the original but still keeps the magic.
You’re sharing an elevator with a big name publisher. Pitch your book using 20 words or less!
You’re never too old for fairy-tales! This has role-reversal, kidnapping, a little passion, big love, and magical moments.
What does your ideal writing space look like?
My desk with my laptop (Lily) and a mug of black coffee! Very tidy and organized, unlike my thoughts which are scrawled into various notebooks.
If your book was turned into a movie, who would play your main characters?
I’ve thought about this a lot, it’s the absolute dream of most writers. For Ash the male Cinderella, I’d go with K.J. Apa, he’d have to have darker hair, but he has that handsome, boyish, yet rugged look. I like he can play vulnerable and strong too. For Ellie, I’d pick Madison Iseman from Jumanji. This actress has lots of sass and when I read Ellie now, this is who I see.
You’re stranded on an island, and only one character from any book can save you. Who are you picking?
From one of my books, I’d have to go with Alex from SUMMER’S END, PNR. From books, I’d wish I’d written, Patch from HUSH HUSH. He was my first book boyfriend 😊
Besides being a writer, what else do you enjoy?
I love to read. I think it’s a must for any writer. I enjoy movies and I’m slightly guilty of watching too much Netflix during lockdown. I love spending time with my family and friends. My two boys are my world. I’ve also just given my home to two beautiful Kittens, Bella and Smudge, and I’m a little in love with them!

Nothing in particular. I’m always looking for new ways to connect with readers.
