In The Spotlight Today: Dr. Alison Ezell!

How old are you and where are you from?

I am an ex collegiate gymnast who decided to pursue a career in Chiropractic. I am 34 years of age and I'm originally from Kansas City. I am a vegetarian, I love being outdoors, working out and being home in my sacred space.

Tell us about your book!

I believe everyone has a story to tell and my book is my story. The ups, the downs and even the lessons learned throughout my journey to womanhood. I also cover topics which I feel are important and relevant in today's society so they

include Health and Wellness, Financial Literacy, Mindset, Mentorship, Relationships and finding your purpose.

What inspired you to write this book?

I wanted to write the book so I could tell my story in hopes of helping someone else NOT make the mistakes in life that I made in all of the major areas that will be discussed. I am a firm believer that success leaves clues, and I would love to leave that for the next person so they can advance without going through as many trials and tribulations as I did.

Have you written any fiction books as well?

I have not written any fiction novels and I have a feeling that this will not be my first and only book that I write.

What are two of your favorite books?

My two favorite books are the Mastery of Love and the 12 Universal Principles of Success. They have had the most impact in my life and I have learned so much about myself from reading those particular books. That's the interesting thing about reading is that it makes you turn the mirror on yourself and so a lot of self-reflection happens which ultimately enhances your growth.
