In The Spotlight Today: Rebekah Wagner!

How old are you and where are you from?

I am 25 and from Thomasville North Carolina.

Tell us more about your book!

Visiting Heaven is an inspirational/dedication fiction to

my late grandmother whom I called Nanny. In the book, readers will follow the

life of Tori. After losing her grandmother who was also her best friend, Tori

distances herself from everyone she knows and falls into a deep, dark place —

losing control of her life with no idea on how to get it back on track. With the gift

of being able to visit heaven and the guidance of her nanny, she is able to get

back on track with her life and even find love.

You’re sharing an elevator with a big name publisher. Pitch your book using 20 words or less! Tori falls into a deep despair after losing her Nanny, but finds herself again after

three visits to heaven.

What does your ideal writing space look like?

I write when its quiet and I’m normally sitting on my couch.

If your book was turned into a movie, who would play your main characters?

That’s a hard pick, but I would have to say when I think of my nanny Kathy Bates pops into my

head.

You’re stranded on an island, and only one character from any book can save you. Who are you picking?

Hmm, I’d have to say Patch from the book Hush, Hush. That was one of my

favorite books and I have a thing for forbidden men or creatures.

Besides being a writer, what else do you enjoy?

I enjoy music, art, cooking and spending time with my family.

Do you have any upcoming book promotions?

Not at the moment but I am working on a new book.
