How old are you and where are you from?

I’m 23 and currently live in Northern Virginia, however, I grew up in Carolina, Puerto Rico.

Tell us more about your book!

TCI is a passion project I’ve been developing or working on in some capacity for about a decade now. It’s a Science-Fiction/Fantasy series with a focus on complex, and well-developed characters and their relationships. In the same way that the Walking Dead is not really about the zombies, TCI is not really about the bloody combat or adrenaline-fueled wars.

TCI is also somewhat unique in that it really meshes technologies and eras. You have spaceships, clones, and intergalactic travel, yet also see a lack of guns, lasers, or any other ‘futuristic’ weapon. All combat is in the ye-olde style with futuristic versions of swords, axes, knives, etc. and shields. This makes for some fairly unique and interesting scenarios, especially when it comes to ship-to-ship fights. More info on the world, races, and characters can be found at https://www.kretzge.com

The grit and morbid reality of Game of Thrones meets the wonder, mysticism, and diversity of Star Wars.

What does your ideal writing space look like?

Gotta have my white noise and either a comfy chair (for desktop) or a yogibo (for laptop). I get so lost as I type that it doesn’t really end up mattering much what the real world around me looks like.

If your book was turned into a movie, who would play your main characters?

I honestly have no idea. I’ve had plenty of concept art done for them (can be found HERE) , so I

suppose someone can tell me who looks like them the most.

You’re stranded on an island, and only one character from any book can save you. Who are you picking?

Island? Definitely CJ. Sheressa would probably plan things better, but CJ has the type of shelter-

building, hunting, fishing, and fire-starting skills we’d need. He’s spent his entire life on islands

anyway, so we’d be going in with an advantage.

Besides being a writer, what else do you enjoy?

I play video games (actually just got back into Minecraft for the 14 th time) and do a fair amount of Software Engineering for my ‘real’ job.

Do you have any upcoming book promotions?
