Tell me about yourself! How old are you, and where are you from?
My name is Dionna but I also go by “Nia Kamau”. I am 22 years old. I was born and raised in Baltimore, MD. Recent graduate of McDaniel College. Licensed Preschool educator.
Give us a summary of your book!
A Father's Love is a memoir/self help book exploring the on and off relationship with my father and how I relate that struggle to many obstacles in my life such as depression, low self esteem...etc. A Father's love has 5 steps that can help anybody who feels they need to repair or simply heal from a damaged relationship.
What inspired you to write this book?
I was inspired to create this book because it is something I wish i had as a reference guide growing up. Since I didn't have it, I decided to create it.
If you could pick one song to describe this book, what would it be?
Ledisi- Bravo because this song talks about overcoming obstacles and never waiting to cry or be sad about anything again.
Have you written any fiction novels as well? If not, would you and what genre?
No fiction isn't really my thing.
What are some of your favorite books? Least favorite?
I don't have a least favorite but I don't really like information strong books like history books.

Do you have any other hobbies, or businesses that you would like to share?
I am a licensed preschool educator and offer weekend care when I am available. I am also a poet/spoken word artist and blogger.

I will be at BCCC (Baltimore City Community College) discussing my book soon that date is not yet confirmed.
I will be vending December 7th,2018 at Broadview Apartments 105 W 39th St. Baltimore, MD 21210 for their small business expo.

word about it. I post a blog every other Sunday with a variety of topics that can be loved by everyone. I am also working on a new book entitled “The Evolution of Nia” it is a poetry and affirmations book. It will be released December 30th, 2020.
