Concrete King 2: Rebirth this is the sequel to last years’ release Concrete King my debut novel. It tells the story of Deon Carmichael and Kayla Jackson. Their chance meeting one night in a bar lead them on a whirlwind romance. Secrets are revealed and she comes to find out that her King is not who she thought he was, but she has fallen too deep to let go. The second book brings you back in to all the chaos that we left off in the first book. If you have read the first book, then let me say this one hits harder. No one is who you think they are, and Deon has had a complete metamorphosis it’s bananas. That’s all I can say without giving away the story.

Hard hitting, gritty novel, well developed characters each with a back story. The storyline pulls you in you become the characters.
What does your ideal writing space look like?
Beautiful wrap around porch, light breeze, and a chair that envelopes the body. In that type of space, I can write for hours.
If your book was turned into a movie, who would play your main characters?
I want unknown actors or newer actors. I need to see and feel their hunger on screen.

Winter from The Coldest Winter Ever she was resourceful and never let all the hell that broke loose in her life keep her down.
Besides being a writer, what else do you enjoy?
Listening to music and singing. Music feeds my soul.
Do you have any upcoming book promotions?
Yes, the new book is scheduled to drop in July and there will be a special with the old book and themed merchandise that we will be promoting with giveaways. We are also launching Pink Ink Publications our family publishing company. We will be debuting Alana Simone and our publishing company in The Baltimore Book Festival in November this year. Concrete King will be re-released and Concrete King 2: Rebirth will be released through our company.
